Back to the weather.

Open NoAd Radar and allow location access first. Then touch and hold your Home Screen, choose Edit, and add the NoAd Radar widget. Choose the size that works for you.

iOS decides when widgets can refresh, so updates aren’t continuous. Opening NoAd Radar requests a refresh, but iOS may defer it. Check your internet connection and the widget’s timestamp.

“Last Checked” shows a successful check. “Last radar” appears when fresh radar is unavailable, so you can tell that the displayed weather may be older.

Enable weather notifications in NoAd Radar’s settings and allow notifications when iOS asks. Alerts use your last registered location. Open the app after traveling to update it.

If alerts aren’t appearing, check iOS notification permissions, Focus settings, and your internet connection. Notifications can be delayed or unavailable; always keep another source of official weather warnings.

Check Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → NoAd Radar. Allow location while using the app, then reopen NoAd Radar and tap the location control. If you use approximate location, the displayed position may be less exact.

Future radar estimates where precipitation may move. It is separate from observed radar and is not an official National Weather Service forecast. Conditions can change.

NoAd Radar currently supports only the contiguous United States (CONUS): the lower 48 states and Washington, D.C. Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, and other countries are not currently covered. An internet connection is required to retrieve weather and map data.
